Q: WHAT IS SUPPLIED ON ARRIVAL?
Fresh milk, tea, coffee and a range of basic kitchen cupboard essentials are supplied for your arrival.
Q: DO I NEED TO DO A FULL CLEAN ON DEPARTURE?
The cottage is thoroughly cleaned between holidays, however a couple items to note before you leave. To keep linen and rubbish handling to single use – please place all bedlinen and towels into clear water soluble bags provided; please place all rubbish from kitchen and bedrooms into wheelie bins in the car park, and if you have had dogs staying with you please ensure you have done a quick vacuum to ensure free of dog hair and you have removed all dog waste from garden !
Q: CAN I BRING PETS?
Well behaved dogs are allowed by arrangement at £20 per dog per stay.
Q: ARE LOGS PROVIDED FOR THE OPEN FIRE?
Dry logs are provided for the wood burner and open fires together with fire lights and kindling.
Q: ARE LINEN AND TOWELS PROVIDED?
The White Company bed linen, pillows, towels and bathroom accessories are all provided. The cot has a mattress, quilt and bumpers. Guests are requested to bring their own cot bedlinen for babies.
Q: CAN I BOOK A SHORT STAY?
Short breaks and long weekends are available during Low and Mid season. Weekend / 3 nights are priced at £750. Extra night(s) at £150.
Q: HOW LONG CAN I PUT THE COTTAGE ON HOLD FOR?
We are happy to put the cottage on hold for you for 24 hours. However in certain circumstances we are happy to hold it for longer, please ask by phone 07901 284955 or email email@example.com.
Q: CAN I PAY BY CHEQUE?
We are happy to accept payment by cheque made payable to ‘Church Cottage’. Please post to Louise Davies at The Barns, Gretton Road, Harringworth NN17 3AD. Please note that the website and other calendars will be updated when the cheque has been received and cleared. Please put your booking reference number on the back of the cheque.
Q: WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY THE DEPOSIT / BALANCE?
The deposit will be due within 5 days of making the booking. We will then send you confirmation of the booking detailing when the balance is to be paid. If your reservation is made within eight weeks of your holiday date, full payment will be required within five working days.
Q: WHAT DAY IS THE DAY OF ARRIVAL?
In peak season the cottage changeover is Saturday from 4pm. However, in low season we can accept bookings starting on any alternative day of the week.
Q: WHAT TIME IS CHECK-OUT?
We kindly ask you to leave the cottage by 10:00am on the day of departure to allow time to prepare the cottage for the following guests. Sunday departures times are either midday or 3pm depending if guests arriving same day.
Q: CAN I ORDER A SUPERMARKET DELIVERY FOR MY ARRIVAL DAY?
A supermarket delivery to the cottage can be arranged however only with prior knowledge in order to verify what time the housekeeper will be at the property.
